Hello! I’m Jocelyn.
Licensed Professional Counselor
I help high-achieving individuals who look successful on the outside but feel exhausted and anxious on the inside. My work focuses on burnout, high-functioning anxiety, and the stress patterns that keep you stuck in overdrive.
My Expertise
Trauma & Anxiety
My approach is trauma-informed and focuses on how your mind and body learned to survive. Many high-achieving individuals develop patterns early in life that helped them succeed but now keep them stuck in stress and overdrive. Together, we gently unpack those patterns and explore how stress shapes both your thoughts and your body. We work on reducing shame and building healthier, more grounded ways of responding to life’s pressures.
Couple’s Counseling
This trauma-informed approach also follows me into couple’s counseling. In relationships, it is easy to question, “Am I crazy?” “Is something wrong with me? Whose fault is it?” The answer: No, you are not crazy. No, there is not something wrong with you. Rather, you have adapted to survive. Couples counseling helps you and your partner understand these patterns within yourselves and one another to create healthier ways to connect and communicate.
Learn How to Manage Conflict
Science tells us that conflict is normal. In his decades-long research, John Gottman states 69% of problems in a relationship are perpetual, meaning they never go away. Therefore, the most effective way to manage these perpetual problems is by improving dialogue and communication.
Improve Reationship Satisfaction
Couples often begin to notice meaningful improvements after 4–8 sessions. Together, we focus on understanding patterns that influence how you show up in your relationship, and increasing connection and practical strategies that last.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do if I need help right away?
In the case that you are experiencing an emergency or crisis, please dial 911 or contact your local emergency facility. You may also receive crisis support from the following resources:
National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-784-2433
Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741
Veterans Crisis Hotline: 1-800-273-8255

What is an emergency / crisis situation?
Emergency or crisis situations are subjective and dependent upon what your typical “normal” is. Some examples of emergency and crisis situations include: imminent suicide (having a plan and intent to kill yourself), imminent homicidal thoughts or thoughts to severely harm another person, experiencing a recent or sudden trauma, gross impairments in thinking, engaging in bizarre behavior, and/or severely losing emotional control.
What can I expect from our first meeting?
The first time we meet, we will discuss and review informed consent and confidentiality. These statements outline your rights. They also give us an opportunity to identify and overcome any barriers that might affect our ability to conduct private and confidential services.
Once you feel comfortable, we will begin to discuss what your goals are and together, we will devise a plan to accomplish those goals.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance. All clients are cash pay. You may pay in cash or via card. If your employer funds or offers you an HRA card (a Health Reimbursement Account), also referred to as an HSA (Health Savings Account), that maintains a balance, I can accept this as a form of payment.
